Dear Friends,
This seminar supports those leading or wanting to lead meditation, spiritual, or faith groups AND those simply seeking guidance, clarity and inspiration on their own life/spiritual paths.
When at our best as leaders and guides, we are fully present, i.e., connected to self, other and the living situation. This embodied presence creates a sense of trust, safety and reliability, often inviting “the larger space” – that indefinable wisdom that is greater than the sum of the parts.
Embodied presence supports us in maintaining or returning to a Focusing attitude – open, curious, and welcoming. For all of us, there are times when this is quite challenging. Whether in a spiritual tradition or in any other context, embodied presence reminds us of the Focusing attitude, often opening the door to “the larger space.”
When sensing: support of the earth, breathing and tuned to our external situation, a Focusing attitude is reliably available. We notice when openness, curiosity, and welcoming are present or if we have slipped into defensiveness, control, or fear. Embodied presence is a learnable capacity. In this seminar, through both theory and practice, we will strengthen this way of Being.
Whether you are leading a group, wanting to lead one, seeking support on your own path and/or learning to interact with others about your path, please join us in this enriching, deep and inspirational seminar.
Hoping to see you in the seminar………Russell Delman
